Hello! I’m LaRhonda….. last name Minor a.k.a “Boss Lady” and Posh Chic Events is my baby. I’ve been in love with weddings every since I can remember. In high school I had a binder that was dedicated to planning and designing me and my friend’s weddings. It had everything in it from pictures of the dresses, flowers, cake, even the limousines to transport us; in my mind our weddings were going to be incredible, and uniquely ours. Fast forward just a “few” years and Posh Chic Events was born out of that same love. 

I come from a very creative family; some may say that creativity runs in my blood. While at Texas State University “Go Bobcats!” studying Accounting and Business Management I took many art and design courses in order to feed my creative thinking. Let’s face it there’s nothing creative about accounting. My aspiration was to always open a wedding and event business that would allow me to take my experience gained in Corporate America combined with my natural ability to create, design, and plan amazing events. It is so awesome to to be able to do what I love and help my clients celebrate with their friends and family. I want you to walk away from your day saying “This was the BEST party EVER!!!”

Every crew needs that one person that keeps them focused. For us, it is Sydney a.k.a “PA Extraordinaire”. She’s the best there is...really! She loves what we do, contributes to the genius, makes sure that we always have fun and finish on time [promptness is the name of the game].  She's our resident author publishing two children's books, and  following her passion she is currently learning Portuguese "Olá!"


Meet Shai our lead event designer a.k.a the “The Artist”. She is the quirky creative personality that helps our couples dreams become reality by designing their celebration to truly reflect their style and personality. Her artistic creativity started at an early age when she would ask her parents to have fun themed parties. My girl is an adrenaline junkie, who loves traveling some of her favorites are Italy, Australia, South Africa, and Thailand. She has a passion for all things creative, different, and fast paced. 


This is Casey a.k.a “The Techy”, but please don’t let the name fool you, the crew would be incomplete without her. Her keen eye for the artistic flare allows her to translate and create amazing custom designs. You’ll often catch her hanging out in museums or art exhibits. Casey is the go-to person if you want to know the latest dance craze! Like the rest of the crew she loves to travel not letting any grass grow under feet, and her love for food has her seeking out culinary experience of all kinds.
